Day(Night) of the Triffids

As the discussion on HHGBSF concerning Day of the Triffids (past and current versions--plus the forthcoming remake), sparked and renewed interest in this, based on the original John Wyndham novel, which I am currently reading. I would be interested in discussing this with others who may have read this, but also see if forum members have also read the Simon Clark sequel Night of the Triffids (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Night_of_the_Triffids)

Thanks!
Anthony
