You have asked for it and now it is here: The Sonic Newsdriver podcast app for the Android platform! Having already established itself on the Apple iOS platform, now Android users will be able to keep posted on selected Doctor Who related news that the Sonic Newsdriver show brings you, along with upcoming extra content right on your Android device. No longer will you need to envy iPhone and iPod touch users, it is now available for the Android. You will never miss an episode and you will be helping to support the show as well.

It is available via AppBrain, an Android app marketplace. With The Sonic Newsdriver Podcast App, you can access episodes of the podcast and play them right from the app, flag episodes (with stars), pause and resume the episode where you left even after leaving the app, see special episode background images on certain episodes (not available in the regular podcast episodes), enjoy extras such as wallpapers, special episodes recorded just for the app, other extras (possibly such as PDFs, artwork, etc.), call the show and leave feedback right from the app (Phone models only), follow the show's Twitter feed @SonicNewsdriver and more! Just like the iPhone/iPod touch version (Sonic Newsdriver Podcast App for iOS), it is only $2.99. Get the Android version here.

Dragonfly sex? © 2010 Louis Trapani arttrap.comMy first tree after Sandy! I tried to put up an old tree on Xmas eve, but it was too much. It wasn't working in the space I made for it. A newer tree in the house I had to throw out after Superstorm Sandy destroyed it. So with the after Xmas sales, I got a new one on the cheap.© 2010 Louis Trapani arttrap.comAn iPhone 4 photo. © 2011 Louis Trapani at arttrap.com
